"Perdition Blues". In this issue, we visit an earlier version of the Haunted Circus of Souls, set amid the mythic landscape of the American West. A weary gunslinger wanders in from the high plains, seeking nothing more than a place to rest and a chance for salvation. What he finds is a deserted old ghost town called Perdition and the remains of an abandoned circus. Led by the strange clanging of church bells, he explores the tattered fairgrounds and discovers that no matter how far we travel, the sins of the past can always find us.
